We gave up on trying to stay up till midnight years ago but when the kids were little we would go outside and make a bunch of noise at midnight and then go to bed. Now I have a hard time making it past 10:30 on any given night. Laura has an easier time of staying up though. Our only real tradition is to have pork roast & sour kraut on New Year’s Day. My son was prescribed Adderall to help him focus in high school and couldn’t stand it. It made him nervous and apprehensive to the point that he had to stop taking it. Laura used to have panic attacks similar to what you described. She thought she was having a heart attack. She wasn’t taking any meds though. Are you taking any other meds? carla, my mom was in a nursing home and they provided their petients with weelchairs. I didnt even know she had one. I thought she might need a walker but the physical therapist said no she walks fine and doesnt need a walker or a weelchair. I was nervouse walking her in and out so I got hers to be safe. thats when I found out she already had one. welcome to the forum flip. I feel for you having all of this come at you at once. one thing that really helped with my moms movements which were really bad were fish oil. its one of the recomended supps for hd. and Ive had hd for 10 yrs with a higher cag count and people cant even tell i have hd or see my movements and i think its from the fish oil I just wanted you to know you are not alone.by lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center

hi I just thought I would post since its been awhile.I hope everyone one on the forum is doing well. Im hanging in there I guese. a long time ago I tried iodine and it made my period lighter so I decided to try it again instead of getting the operation. sure enough it worked. now my periods are normal agiain. heavy but not dangerouse. it must have shrunk the fibroids. another thing i tried isby lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center
