Mare, How is it going so far? Laura is going to start taking the creatine concrete but we just don't know what the best method is. I'm sure the Creatine Master (Will) will be able to advise. . . She would like to take in a pill/capsule form. Do they make such a product. With the old creatine there was always the gritty leftover in the glass and of course the side effects. What about dosage? That sucks. It's such a staple in our house. No one at our house has a chicken aversion. I usually roast a whole chicken and will make at least 2-3 different meals with the meat and save up a few carcass' for soup later on. Is it the same regardless of how it's prepared? What about eggs? Thanks for posting that Will. It's always a good quick read to make sure we are doing what we can. Keep guzzling coffee. . . etc Chloe, What made you want to go vegan? We have gone in the opposite direction, eating whole foods, home cooked and not paying any attention to fats or calorie. We went Paleo for a few months and that progressed to all home cooked meals with no packaged foods and onby lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center
I can't comment about specifics regarding side stepping or clipping a heel but I can say that walking is always observed at Laura's neurologist appointments. Checking the gait.by lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Laura had a hysterectomy in Oct 2012 and came through with no problems. At the hospital with pre-op, the anesthesia and the recovery all went as planned. Peteby lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Why are you suspecting HD? You said no-one in the family has ever mentioned the disease at all. If HD is in your family it is common to symptom search. Some have been here 100% sure they had HD because of symptoms and then test negative. Peteby lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Welcome. You have asked the age old HD question. You can search the forum and find a bunch of experiences from various folks here including Laura & me. We opted to wait until they were in their late teens. There are no easy answers to your questions as every HD family dynamic is different. How old are your sons? EricR, Do you, or does anyone here have any experience with creatine hydrochloride? I am going to look into it. Thanks, Pete The only place I could find with any reviews is Amazon. Peteby lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Thanks for the replies. She is not taking creatine. I don't know if it is diet related. In the mean time I contacted Laura's doctor and she provided this article.by lauraandpete - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Folks, Laura drinks plenty of water through out the day. Maybe 8-10 twelve oz. glasses. She is not on any medications, eats a pretty balanced diet and takes some of the basic supplements. We are wondering if anyone else out there is having extreme thirst. She’s thirsty all the time. Ant thoughts or comments are appreciated.
