Hi Tom I feel that as you gain some knowledge of HD, You will find that the need for occupational therapy for a Phd is minimal at best. Following the course of HD in a person who is positive for the gene, but is gainfully employed in the earlier stages of HD,That person is going to stay put (usually) till the Disease makes it impossible to work,and impossible to have another career choice.by Ron C. - Huntington's Disease Support Center
