Hi everyone. My husband is starting to show some movements of HD. Is there anything he can take, medically or otherwise, to try and keep them away? Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.by Ann - Huntington's Disease Support Center
As a caregiver for my husband who has HD, I tried to join "Chorea Matters". Unfortunately for us, the site is for U.S residents only. ( We are Canadian.)by Ann - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Hi Marlyssa. I'm new to this site also. My husband has HD. He too would be mean and selfish. He is on 2 medications. One for Depression called Venlafaxine HCL 75mg. The other is Epival 250mg. I find the Epival has helped soooo much! He is not so selfish or paranoid. Much easier to deal with mentally! My advice to you is..... MOVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to your family!!!! Hi, I'm new. My husband has just tested positive. He is showing the beginning symptoms of H.D. His number is 45, and he is 42 years old. I hope he can get this "gene silencing " as soon as possible. We have 2 boys 10 and 12, and I have promised them that we would go where ever the treatment is being offered! I have to give them some hope, and I pray to God this is our cure!by Ann - Huntington's Disease Support Center
