My husband has been on the miraxion trial 9 months now and has 3 left.
The first 6 months he could have been on the miraxion or the placebo-we are not told neither is the site. In talking with the neurologist on our last visit last month she said of the 7 trialing at this site that 3 feel they have gotten worse, 2 notice no difference and one thinks they may be getting a little better and my husband. My husband is not sure, sometimes he thinks it helps and other times he does not. Myself, I would say it probably has not helped on behavior and movement which I see on the outside. If he feels better on the inside that is great though also. The trial is 12 months and the drug company is willing to provide the drug to all those in the trial on an ongoing basis after that, however, his doctor does not know if they will let their patients do this. I have told her if a patient feels it helps I think it should be available to them.
