Hi I agree with all being said... My Husband is like a light switch.. Every day before he gets home the kids and I walk on egg shells unsure what mood we will get... When in a fowl mood its mostly my Son and I that cop it. I think whats most hurtful is the nasty things and the put downs then looking at us like we are stupid and have all the issues. Hi there, Maybe she needs to be tested?? If HD runs in her family she has a 50% chance of having it I believe.. My husband has tested pos and although he also manages with most day to day things like working and driving he also can be abusive and very irritable over nothing. HD runs in his family also. Hi Thorflower, Its interesting to me how you believe HD originated in England as my HD pos mother in law is English, her mother passed away with HD (we only know that as my mother n law sent her mothers brain to be tested) at the time of all this my mother n law refused to believe she could also carry the gene and refused to be tested. Hi... My Husband has a CAG of 42 we found out 2yrs ago hes nearly 46... His mother is 62 her CAG was 44 her mother also passed of huntingtons, I am my mother n laws care giver and she is really easy but is in the last stages, its my father n law i find is a problem, hes a chronic alcoholic.
