The Huntington Study Group has ended its Phase III trial of CoQ10. An early analysis of data shows that it was not slowing disease progression and there was no point in going on with it. Here is the article: [hdlf.org]

Thanks for the update, Marsha. It's also important to know if something is not working. I seem to recall the late Jerry Lampson (Lighthouse Founder) was against a CoQ10 clinical trial.

Thanks for sharing - but it is depressing, don't you think?

I wish it had been effective but I am not depressed because I didn't find the mouse data to be at all convincing. I would be much more discouraged if the mouse data had looked very promising. I will be depressed if creatine doesn't work because the mouse data looked and the Phase II data looked good.

I totally agree it is depressing. I have taken CoQ for years and now it feels as if there is nothing to do. I have to admit the savings will help me pay off my mortgage so I am focusing on that bu still sad.
