Chicken Aversion

I don't think that this has anything at all to do with Huntingtons, but I thought I would post it here if anyone has advice.

I'm not a vegeterian, at all. I love meat. I'm from a country in Africa where we have literally the raw carcass of buck on the kitchen table to cut into strips to make biltong.

But for about the last four years I have had difficulty cooking and eating chicken. It just seems so completely disgusting. Something about it want to make me gag. At first I could eat it if someone else cooked it, but last night my husband cooked and I couldn't even touch it.

No problem with red meat though.

It's very odd. Anyone else experience anything similiar?

That sucks. It's such a staple in our house. No one at our house has a chicken aversion. I usually roast a whole chicken and will make at least 2-3 different meals with the meat and save up a few carcass' for soup later on.

Is it the same regardless of how it's prepared? What about eggs?

This is the strange part - I have no problem with semi-raw eggs.

If I mention that I can't eat chicken people assume I'm pregnant. It's can't be that because its been four years. lol.
