Cool! I almost feel as if Will is a relative or something...I feel as if I know him and I feel proud of his accomplishments!

Thanks, Eve and Carla. I did finish my 38th Marine Corps Marathon yesterday in a rather pedestrian time of 6 hours, 18 minutes. I was in second place of the 4 Groundpounders, who all finished. Marathons don't get easier with time, especially when age becomes a factor. I had to apply a good dose of gumption to get to the finish this year.

I do have a huge, shiny finisher's medal in the shape of the Marine Corps emblem as a reward. It will go on display on top of the pile of others on a shelf in a back closet. :-)

Will, I love that you are a humble man just doing what you do...BUT...display those medals that you have earned!!

Great job! I did my first half ont the 20th of october and wanted to wear my medal for days!
