I'll give my experanice.

after bad effects trying multiple "mood" medications, Lexapro worked wonders for my wife and still does after 5 years.

She never stayed on Tetrabenazine since at the time it was prescribed she was morbidly depressed and violent rages.

My husband is on Zoloft. It has worked since the first week he started it. He was given that by out family MD, who is familiar with Huntingtons. Dont know what part of Texas you are in, but December is way to long to wait. We are in Texas too. I wish you luck!

Is anyone taking Abilify for movements. Found a link that said it worked better than Tetrabenazine with fewer side affects. I take Lexapro with good
results for depression.

My husband has been for years at least 10 or so years,on Respseridol, worked like a charm from day one,he is now taking
4mg twice daily and 0.5 mg of ativan twice daily .All other medications made him groggy and he was very moody and clumsy and was drooling .not good ,and Zeprexa made him extremly aggresive and increased his movements.
