Steve's dad passed away just after midnight this morning. He was in the hospital and not doing well so Steve had already booked a flight to Texas and he will be there soon.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts. He was struggling with a lot of immobility and pain toward the end. I have no doubt that he's a lot happier where he is now. Several friends and lots of cousins and other family members that I haven't seen for many, many years showed up for the funeral, so even though he wasn't there we made the best of it.
