I know everything says 50/50 for each child. In our family it appears that 3rd child is clear. My mom and dad had my brother (positive), then a miscarriage, then myself (I am the only one clear), my sister born after me is positive.

My dad's mom had him first (positive), lost a child at 2 years old, and then had my aunt (3rd child - negative), and then had another daughter (positive).

My aunt said that it was the same way for one of her mom's sisters....

It's just coincidence, it is always a 50/50 chance for each individual person at risk

In my husband's family, the 3rd child got it worse. She had jHD.

You can look at it like that if you want, but it will drive you crazy. It's 50/50 each time. Flip the coin 3 times and you can get 3 heads.
