My mom was discharged from her nursing home about a month ago. She's living at home with my family and I. My mom was abused by my father all her life. Now thats all she talks about. What a horrible life she had with him and how he is a bad dad etc... But thats all she talks about.

Lately I come home make her dinner and she'll go to bed. Then I wake her up to give her medicine.And she'll go to bed again. She sleeps alot.

Is that normal?

Sleeping a lot is normal in the later stages of HD. The medicine often makes people sleepy but even those who are not taking medication sleep much more than average. My ex sleeps at least 12 hours a day.
