We want to start a new classified ads section at HDAC to
announce the availability of used medical equipment for sale
or trade. Does this sound like something the community could
actually use?

What we need now are suggestions for a list of equipment that
is necessary and re-usable in different stages of HD. Broda
chairs would be an example, but otherwise I'm pretty clueless
because our Phds aren't to the point where they need that kind
of assistance. What does insurance, Medicare and Medicaid
usually pay for? How interested would you be in donating to,
or raising funds for, an account to provide some of this
equipment to families who need it but can't afford it? Any
other ideas, comments questions or suggestions?

The sooner we get these questions answered the sooner we can
