However, we haven't zeroed in on a wedding date yet (the exact date may depend on who wins the election - Marsha may need some time for mourning should McCain win the election) .

Thanks so much to all of you for the good wishes! I am really, really happy and I will be even happier when Steve moves from Texas to Delaware. Dating gets a lot more complicated when you are a plane trip apart.

Life takes some surprising turns! I could not have imagined when Steve and I started HDAC along with our friend Cristy that I would one day be marrying him. The three of us met in the MGH chatroom. Cristy and I wanted to put up a website and Steve, a software developer, volunteered to help. We had the site up for a year before we finally met in person at a planning meeting for the HOPES site. Stanford flew us all out there to discuss their plans for a new web site. Cristy went on to health insurance advocacy but Steve and I have worked on the site ever since and then in June 2004 we 'inherited' the Lighthouse. So we spent a lot of online time together and got to be best friends.

So will you be changing your name, Marsha?
