Im planning on getting tested soon too. I was wondering if there are complicated, unexpected and difficult feelings even with a negative result.

Hey everyone...im so moved by all your posts...thankyou so much

i got my result earlier today...and recieved good news...i do not have the HD gene...its hard to believe i am even writing this..even though i have said it to about 20 people, its a rather strange feeling!

So im feeling a whole range of mixed emotions...but most importantly my four kids are no longer at risk...which is wonderful and they are all very happy...my husband has been crying most of the day since we where told so he is very relieved!

I think it might take me a while for it all to sink in...but i cant thank you all enough for you thoughts and wishes...and for caring.
