I'm not a medical professional of any kind, but friends tell me that what has been effective for their loved ones with depression and rages is the combination of an SSRI, Buspar, and a neuroleptic (Zoloft/Buspar/Risperdal, Paxil/Buspar/Zyprexa, etc. but no Haldol). It can't hurt to ask your doctor.
