Hi Kelti, I think of you quite often. I hope things are going well for you. Life for me right now is really hectic so when I have a minute I try to read the forum but rarely post anymore. I picked my daughter Bryla up at the airport yesterday so I have my 12,14 yr old,and the twins with me now. I am taking medical assisting at Zane State, and I love being back in school however much I get insecuby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Matt, your slide show is beautiful. You have done a great job of showing the progression without it being too sad. You are lucky to have gotten so much time with your father. My twins are two and haven't seen their father since they were 18 months old. They visit with him every sunday by webcam which keeps them bonded...anyway, well done!by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Maria, I have a twelve year old son also, and he is deciding whether he is going to stay here with me now for the school year instead of going back to his dads. I lived in Canada so he spent the school year with him here in the states, so now that I am back, he will be choosing. I go to school and I am taking sixteen credit hours, I am at school M-Th pretty much all day and on M-W the twins and Iby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Hi Eric, It sounds as if you have raised your boys responsibly and you are open and honest with them and that is all they can ask for, At least they know you will be there for them when they need it. Barring kid cages and wanting them to support you...great job!! LOLby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
I am so happy for you! Congratulations!by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Now wait Myrna, I didn't say I didn't drink. I just said I was a lightweight and would most likely end up the entertainment if not careful!!!!! (I have before!)by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Oh dear Myrna, I am a light weight with alchohol...I am afraid I would end up the entertainment!by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Hmmm so if he is as "old as dirt" does he have the stamina to chase after a watermelon??? LOL Perhaps he has. You seem to be doing okay for being "older than dirt" JLby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Barb, I think it may be too late for Eric...doesn't he say he is older than dirt?by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
I have watermelon too...but Eric...what was it you were going to need the watermelon for???? Can I come to the party? I make great homemade dinner rolls...by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Barb, you make such beautiful quilts!....could you call me in your next crisis? Now that I know Eric's trick, I promise to cut you off in mid sentence and ask for a quilt! Seriously though, you have a wonderful talent Trishby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Hi Chef, I haven't posted in a while either, but to let you know, my husband told me about HD from the start of our relationship. He was a wonderful man, so I took the risk and married him. Although I am separated now, I do not regret marrying him. I have a set of twins that are two and we left for safety reasons. My husband and I still keep in close contact. I still try to "caregive"by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Happy Birthday Dusty and Bailey!by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
I am glad Debbie that your husband is willing to get the treatment he needs. I admire you so much for your courage and determination. You are a strong woman. As for Bailey and the girlfriend...how cute is that?by rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Hi Debbie, I haven't posted on much in quite a while, but this I know a little about. My husband started having irrational bursts of temper about things that seemed minor or trivial, to me anyway, but to him he couldn't control it or rationalize it. His temper and irrational behaviour kept escallating to the point we the twins and I had to leave. My husband was in denial of symptoms and refusedby rtrishm - Huntington's Disease Support Center
