My wife (CAG 42) and I will travel to St. Louis in Dec. for the "screening" visit to begin participation in the ACR 16 Trai. We live in Oklahoma City, 500 miles from St. Louis. We requested that the visits be on Fridays and that we receive some travel reimbursement. Jemi, Thanks for asking. We have not notice any change this first week, but the dosage is just 1/3 of the amount perscribed. Today, the beginning of the second week, the dosage goes up to 2/3, one 12.5mg pill in the moring and one in the evening. We completed the perscription process through our neuro and the pills arrived yesterday. My wife started this morning and we are hopeful we will see some positive impact on her movements in the next few weeks. We will also be watching for any negative results too. Dusty, I have been watching the House series since reading about the HD theme here on this site. Last night's show had a greater impact on me than I would have expected. I thought the actors playing the role of the HD patients were spot on, and now I learn from you post that they were real. Hello, my name is Charley. My wife tested positive 4 years ago, CAG of 42. We are both 61 years old and will celebrate our 38th wedding anniversay this Dec. My wife's mother had HD and died in 1979 at the age of 68. My wife's older brother tested negative and has 6 children.
