This is for my wife of 43 years who was told she had huntingtons 15 years ago. She has spent the last 3 years in an assisted living home. The staff have been good, but they have limited resourses to help them. She now has almost no verbal ability and can not walk at this time. She still eats softer and small portions and drinks with a straw, but they are days when she will not eat for severalby polleyathome - Huntington's Disease Support Center
My wife is in an assisted living house and her doctor said we should consider a feeding tube but said it was 50/50 as to any benefit verses not having one. Just asking if others have had to decide and what would you recommend. I know each person is different but I would like some pro's and con'sby polleyathome - Huntington's Disease Support Center
