Hello all. I joined and made my first post last November regarding my mother. This past Wednesday was her funeral. At the age of 65 and after an incredibly long battle, she passed away at home in my loving father's arms who cared for her and stood by her side for nearly 50 years. I am 24, my mother exhibited symptoms throughout my entire life and I never knew her to be normal. I am also currently a student studying genetics and neurobiology. Hello all-- my name is Grizmo, and I am a college student studying biology! My mother was diagnosed with HD in 2008, when she was 59 and severely progressed. Today was her 67th birthday, and all I could think was that I wanted to call her on the phone and say I love you, happy birthday Mom.
