My husband has been on this for years, at first we tried anti-depressants but the actually made him depressed. Our doctor suggested anti-anxiety and he has been taking it since. Just recently we upped the dose but it has worked very well for us for at least four years how. I feel the pain in your post send prayers your way. Your family is very lucky to have you and you know how much your husband appreciates you. Not certain if you have someone to talk to but I see a psychiatrist who has helped me so much. It is so easy to feel guilt and not take care of our own health when dealing with HD. Keep posting it's good to vent and helps to know your not alone. God Blessby Debi - Huntington's Disease Support Center

God Bless you both hope this helpsby Debi - Huntington's Disease Support Center
There is a book called Hurry up and wait by Jimmy Pollard that has been a blessing to my family. He has worked with HD patients for years and has excellent advise on how to deal with all aspects of the disease and gives you a glimpse of what it feels like inside the HD brain. It has been a great help to me to know that a lot of the cognitive issues are HD and not my wonderful husband.by Debi - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Wondering if anyone has had this problem. My husbands tounge is sore on the tip as he moves it around his mouth when focusing on doing taskes, reading, anythng really. He bits the inside of his mouth as well and gets sores but the tounge is more bothersome to him than the sores. He gargles for the pain but can't keep his tounge still. He has tried chewing gum which helps a bit when he is hikingby Debi - Huntington's Disease Support Center
