Something similar happened to me. I had 3 appointments separated by 3 weeks, the fist two for counseling and the last one for getting the results. One day before getting the results they called me and said that some important machine was broken and I had to wait for another week. At first I was angry but I soon came to realize that I needed a few more days to get to the end of the whole process.by Deep - Huntington's Disease Support Center
Hello, I've also felt frustrated when I found out about the disease in my family. After some research I found out that my grandmother didn't have Parkinson's... and her sister, and her mother, and .. How could the doctors say that all of them had Parkinson's ?! From what I know it isn't even inheritable (or at least like HD )... Or the whole family was a bunch of liars of they where hiding somby Deep - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Hello, I'm 25 and recently undergone the whole testing process. In my country we have 3 sessions. The first one is all about knowing HD and explaining the testing process. hello everyone, My mother, who has H.D, has the same behavior every year at same dates. Every xmas she starts to become mean, violent, and is trying to find a way to ruin xmas. When my father lived with us, if me and my sister went to my fathers' family just for a small visit, she would get mad. If we didn't go, she would get mad. Everything is a pretext for her to get mad and start insultingby Deep - Huntington's Disease Support Center

Mine was supposed to take three weeks, I was very very nervous and in the day before they called me: "The machine is broken", and I had to wait one more week! I don't know why, but at that day, it seemed like a relief. I needed one more week to think about the whole stuff that was happening.. I guess HD takes different and similar courses on each person. Since I was little that my mother had very strange reactions that I never understood. Actually I thought she was a bad person. She always played psychological mind tricks on me and my sister, making us feel bad for anything, or start yelling for no reason saying very bad things that you should never listen, especially from yourby Deep - Huntington's Disease Support Center
