If all goes well, we may have the first clinical trial within the next two years.

Barb, Hayden's most famous experiment was with the caspase six resistant mice and that wasn't RNAi. However, I know his lab was working on antisense oligonucleotides. They have found a way to make them allele specific. ASOs also silence the gene but in a somewhat different way than RNAi.

Oh thank you Marsha, i know i usually understand most research, but the rnai and capasce thing, i always get lost and mixed up on those two, over and over again lol, and every time i ask you explain it to me again lol smiling smiley Thank you so much Marsha smiling smiley
