I'm doing a report for school and i'm supposed to give the pros and cons to getting tested or not getting tested. I would like someone else's opinion on this subject. The scenario we are looking at is a man with a wife and a daughter has HD. What should he do? Please e-mail me ASAP.

My husband had hd is his family and we decided that if we were going to have children then he would have to be tested. He did get tested and he tested positive for hd. Sometimes I wonder if we made the right decision or not. It really is a personal choice that you have to make. There is no right answer to your question
I'm not sure if you are still working on your report - but I have been recently tested for HD (my mother has the disease). I can give you some feedback on what I experienced and what my thoughts were and are regarding testing. Let me know if you are still interested - I'd be happy to share with you.
