Has anyone on this forum ever come across a person - won't name them yet - who claims to be able to trawl through worldwide Genealogy records. I gave very personal information over to this person only to be left completely high and dry. They are not responding to emails at all. Very frustrating after sending on personal, sensitive information. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I think it's good to always be careful who you correspond to privately from the forum. Did you check this persons profile before giving them your info, by checking how many posts they have done on the forum? Oh, and no, I've never heard of this on here before

I would bring your concerns to Marsha or Steve privately. They would have contact info for everyone, as administrators.
