Trehalose research

I noticed a web page that describes research that a student planned to do in 2011:

"Pharmacological manipulation of an autophagy-inducing drug, trehalose. Modification through liposome encapsulation, to allow passage through blood-brain barrier to induce autophagy in the treatment of gliomas and other neurological diseases." (Excerpted from this page: [nih-cbstp.nci.nih.gov] )

Unfortunately I couldn't find the results of the study.

My husband tried this a long time ago before we were married and ended up tossing it, but I am wondering if I should now add it to everything else. Does anyone here use Trehalose and if so how much and where do you buy it. I remember I ordered it online, but I can't remember from where.

Thanks,

Edwina,

From Dr. LaVonne's page [hddrugworks.org] I get mine from [www.swansonvitamins.com] I only take 15 grams a day because of all the other stuff in my regimen.

Will,

Thank you. I will order it. Yes so many things to take. I can add this to the protein shake for my husband.
