Found a book online today that my cousin-in-law had published. It's a collection of poems my cousin wrote before Huntington's entered the picture. He died a couple of years ago (and I wasn't told - can you believe that?) but seeing this book (although I couldn't actually read it) reminded me there was a Tommy before HD.

I miss that Tommy

I know just how you feel. Sometimes I browse through pictures, sit quietly and remember back to the days when Tim was playing sports, living life to the fullest extent, happy and carefree. I miss that Tim, but I love that he still battles against this opponent. Pray that somehow both of my my sons win this contest!
