I got tested for HD about 2 months ago and the results are still not in.
I was just wondering if it usually takes this long?

It can take a while, depending on the circumstances. But most of the time it's less than 2 months.

Don't you have to see the doctor that ordered the test?

That's what you pay them for, to follow up on those things.

i went back to see the dr but they said they arent back yet. the waiting is driving me crazy

I'm so sorry you're still waiting, and that you don't know exactly when they'll be in.

Mine were only expected to take 2-3 weeks (Ohio), but the geneticist says the lab they use is the fastest she's ever known of. I think 6-8 weeks is more typical (from when I was calling around).
