In November 2008 a company (Neurolstem) announced they were going to try to set up stem cell treatment for HD. They had just completed
doing stem cell for spinal cord injury. This company is in Germany.

Has anyone heard anything more up to date on this?

I can't find a Germany company but the U.S. base Neuralstem has received FDA approval to do a clinical trial with ALS patients. They will receive multiple injections into the gray matter of the spinal cord.
