I have been teaching preschool a three year old class this year. I have had a few falls at home that resulted in minor injuries.

My employer doesn't want me to return next school year because they are afraid of being held liable if I fell at work

Any comments?

My sister is on something that helps her chorea. I don't even hers anymore

The only meds I'm on is Paxil

Are they aware of your condition? You could request long-term disability from them if you have the coverage. Also, they could be held liable for discrimination if they know of your condition and try to fire you for it. I think you need to talk to an HR person or lawyer about this--and not theirs! Good luck!

I talked to a lawyer andi can't file a suit based on this information

I don't qualify for SS disability because I haven't gotten enough work credits

If you live in the US, you could go go Target. I was a manager there. There was people with disabilities working there.
