Repetitive Motion Disorder

My wife, Jan has HD and has started complaining of numbness in her legs -- at times when she is standing. She's at a stage where she no longer qualifies for clinical trials because of her low total function. She has difficulty being understood when she speaks.

Since this numbness is not alleviated by standing I'm wondering if she might have a form of repetitive motion disorder resulting from the HD movements. This makes perfect sense but I've never seen any studies of RMD secondary to HD.

There was a point at which she was diagnosed with arthritis due to her excessive hand motions (which we got under control with Xenazine) but she wasn't able to tolerate the higher doses (acute onset Parkinsonism was a side effect at those doses) so we're walking a tight-rope between motion-induced injury and Xenazine side effects.

maybe not the same, but for the few days my wife tried TBZ, she complianed about numbness in legs and arms with the added discription of "feeling like they were cement"
