I have had the fortune of golfing with Bruce in Louisville, KY years ago. I had not heard of him back them, but he came up on my buddy and I played the last two holes of golf with us at Crescent Hill Golf Course (Louisville, KY).
Bruce died yesterday and he was no doubt the most influential and determined person in our Kentucky Chapter. He worked tirelessly to make people aware of Huntington's Disease. Further, he served as a great inspiration in seizing the day, every day, despite his HD condition.
Bruce was the HDSA Person of the Year back in 2005. I happened to attend the HDSA Convention that year in Atlanta and saw Bruce being recognized and that is when they first showed this documentary, "Better Golf with Bruce". I hope you enjoy it and feel inspired by it. Chris Borders, who is in the video, was part of the Borders & Borders Booksellers company at the time.
