First, I'd like to thank you for visiting HDLF and I hope your experience here is a good one.  We created this new site to combine the best features of HDAC.org and HDLighthouse.org and we hope that you enjoy the results.

I'm Steve Ireland and I'm the site designer and developer.  Marsha Miller is the site editor and content queen.  Since content is everything then her articles are what make the site what it is.

We started HDLF as a prototype for a Spanish version of HDlighthouse.org and have happily discovered that there was more interest than we expected.  So we've made the decision to continue to move forward with expanding the comprehensiveness of HDLF.  Please continue to visit us. We are going to make enhancements and improvements every couple of weeks.  If you find the site useful to you please let us know.

One last point, because Marsha does such a professional job with the content (as you might expect since she has a Ph.D. in Socialogy) visitors often assume that HDLF.org, HDAC.org, and HDlighthouse.org are corporate or organization efforts.  But the truth is that they are the result of passionate HD family efforts.  HDLF.org, HDAC.org, and HDlighthouse.org were developed for HD families by HD families.
